The hamlet of Nadalie

Our holidayhouse is situated in a small authentic hamlet called Nadalie , BOUZIC (24250). In a rural enviorment but certainly not lonely. Nadalie consist about 12 houses, mostly secondary homes. The direct enviorment is woods with open fields, slightly hilly with lots of hikingspaths. Just between the departme55 km south of Paris.

The Dordogne and the Lot are well known for their cultural- and histrorical sites, markets, outstanding restaurants and lots of sportive activities .

All together with the mediterenian climat and you will have a perfect spot to enjoy your holiday !

Cultural- and Historical sites

Within a radius of 30 km you will find 5 of the "les plus beaux village de France":

Sarlat la Canéda, Domme, Rocques Gageac, Beynac, St. Cirq Lapopie.

Besides there are many castels, caves and special gardens. To many to mention but certainly worthwhile to discover !

De vele markten en de culninaire specialiteiten

Over smaak val niet te twisten, maar dat de beste keuken van Frankrijk zich in de Dordogen bevindt daar zijn we het wel over eens. Dit uit zich door de vele regionale specialiteiteen, en ja, wie kent ze niet: de fois gras, les truffes du perigord, confit de canard, de cabécou (kaas), walnoten en natuurlijk de Vin de Domme die op 1 km afstand van ons geproduceerd wordt.

De keuken van het vakantiehuis is volledig ge-equipeerd, maar mocht u liever aan tafel aanschuiven dan kan ik U met betrekking tot een restaurantkeuze persoonlijk adviserern!

Niet te missen de markt in Cazals op zondagmorgen (een goede starter na aankomst op zaterdag) en de donderdagochtmarkt in Monpazier (een romantisch bastide stadje). Uiteraard is de markt in Sarlat op zaterdagochtend ook een aanrader.

Markets and culinaire highlights

It is difficult to twist about taste, but we agree about the fact that on of the finest kitchens of France is in the Dordogne. Who doesn't know the famous regional specialties : fois gras, les truffes du perigord, confit de canard, de cabécou (goatcheese), walnuts and of course the Vin de Domme, a cave situated on 1 km from our house.

The kitchen is well equiped, but if you prefer to go out for dinner I can give you personal advice in your choice of restaurant !

Certainly not to mis the market in Cazals on sundaymorning ( a good starter after your arrival on saterday) and thursday morning in Monpazier (a romantc small bastide town). Of course I can recommend strongly the market in Sarlat on saterday !

Activities and sportpossibilties

The Dordogne (Perigord) departement has endlessly many activity- and sportpossibilties:

Swimming and canoing in the river Dordogne, wallclimbing, mountenbiken, hiking, golf, horsebackriding etc.etc.

Wild orchids are flowering in the month mai and june. Only on our domain you can finde 12 different, mostly very rare, species.

In the month of June and August Bouzic has his "marché du producteurs" , a market where you can buy local products and eat them at the same time (public barbeque available). Definitly recommended!
